Coimbatore: This year the second edition of ELGi "#whatsyourfinishline" Event Witnessed with 63 international virtual teams participation.

In a press release issued by "Elgi Equipments". It is said, "ELGi one of the world’s leading air-compressor manufacturers rolled out the second edition of the annual #whatsyourfinishline challenge. The month-long challenge, which culminated on the 31st of December 2020, saw employees, distributors, and customers across Europe, India, the USA, Africa, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Middle-East, Malaysia and Singapore, come together with a common purpose. This year, 63 international virtual teams clocked over 35,000 miles running, walking, or jogging while adhering to the local health and safety regulations. All in the true spirit of collaboration, one of the core values at ELGi"



"The ELGi #whatsyourfinishline challenge was conceptualized in a bid to promote fitness as a means to ward off lifestyle-related diseases and build cancer awareness. The annual challenge prompts every ELGi employee, distributor, customer, supplier, and the community at large to set their own fitness goals, come together and achieve them, via a variety of team activities spanning planking, swimming, skipping, yoga, cycling, squats, crunches, walking, jogging, running and mountain climbing."

"ELGi Equipment also powered the 2020 Coimbatore Marathon, held virtually this year in December. All proceeds from the marathon support the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation in its efforts to spread cancer awareness among the masses."
