MLA Kasthuri Vasu inaugurates special pongal gift scheme in Valparai!

Valparai MLA Kasthuri Vasu inaugurated the pongal gift scheme this year.


Coimbatore: Tamilnadu government recently announced a new pongal gift scheme under which ₹2500 will be given to every ration card holder along with other supplies such as sugarcane, 1kg raw rice, 1kg sugar and assorted dry fruits to celebrate the harvest festival of Pongal.



Valparai MLA Kasthuri Vasu inaugurated the pongal gift scheme under which 17314 ration card holders from the 48 ration shops in Valparai will be given the pongal gift.

Valparai Tahsildar Raja, Valparai AIADMK Secretary Mayil Ganesan, Co-operative bank head Valparai V Ahmed, Advocate R Perumal Lokesh, SKS Balu, revenue officers and other public and party members participated in the event.
