The woman named Loganayagi had reportedly arrived to the District Collectorate to submit a petition to the Collector alleging false accusations on her husband which led filing of case against him.by Singanallur police.
Jeevanandam hails from the Singanallur area of Coimbatore.He owns a land in Kamaraj Road area where he runs a shop and owns an auto. On December 25, 2020, Jeevanantham attempted self immolation by stating thatManikandan, the state organizer of the Hindu Munnetra Kazhagam, had been extorting money from him by making false allegations to the Corporation that his land was Poramboke land. Based on his complaint, the Singanallur police are investigating the issue.
Meanwhile, denying the accusations, Manikandan's wife Loganayaki today attempted to self immolate, demanding to withdraw the case filed on her husband.The police on duty stopped her and took her to Race Course police station.
