After that, the consultation meeting was held at a private hotel. In it, it was discussed that a decision on forming an alliance with the DMK in the 2021 assembly elections would be taken in February and that the salary increase for plantation workers in the Valparai area and there would be ₹10 lakh in compensation for those affected by wildlife.For the past 10 years, demands were being made to upgrade the Valparai Government Hospital.

The people living here are facing great hardship and they are relocating to the plains. With all this, it was decided at the meeting that they need to topple the current government."



The event was attended by more than 100 party volunteers from Valparai MDMK city secretary Kalyani, Congress party Kuselan and Manithaneya Makkal Katchi Sabir and Ali from Valparai.
