Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 1,002 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,00,429 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 8,127.
Among districts, Chennai led with 236 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 69 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 61,077 today, totalling to 1,43,82,123 getting examined till date.
