COVID-19: 78 new cases reported in Coimbatore District, today

Coimbatore: From 80 plus Covid cases for the last few weeks, the Covid cases in the district has decreased to 78, today.


Coimbatore: From 80 plus Covid cases for the last few weeks, the Covid cases in the district has decreased to 78, today.

The number of positive cases has notably reduced with 779 Covid patients treated at various hospitals across the district, as per the State bulletin.

With the new cases today, the total number of coronavirus infections in Coimbatore rose to 52,496 and death toll to 654.

Of the patients being treated, 97 people have been discharged today.The district administration has advised the people to strictly follow all Covid protocols and not be lethargic due to decrease in daily Covid count.
