Balakrishnan (55) is a cotton trader from LIG colony near Mahalingapuram, Pollachi.
Coimbatore: Balakrishnan who withdrew rupees 2.55 lakhs from a bank on the newly constructed road placed the money in the bag of his two wheeler and went to a shop nearby.
A mysterious man who followed him stole the money from his vehicle. Balakrishnan who lost his money in the incident filed a complaint at the Pollachi Mahalingapuram Police station and the police officials filed a case regarding this incident and began their investigation.
During a random search by the police near Thillai Nagar in Pollachi, the police officials enquired 3 people who were behaving in an odd way.
During further investigation it was revealed that Rajesh (30), Subramaniam (34) and Mahendran (36)were from Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh and that they were the culprits behind stealing money from Balakrishnan.
The police officials then retrieved around 2 lakhs 55 thousand rupees from the 3 men and produced them at the Crime Court in Pollachi and was later sent to prison.
