A welfare board must be set to ensure the livelihood of photo videographers - Photo videographers Association of Tamil Nadu.

In the state general body meeting held at Pollachi, some of the mandatory requirements from the Photo videographers association were discussed.


Coimbatore: The general body meeting of the photo videographers association was held today in Pollachi. Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman participated in the event and handed over calendar's, diaries and identification cards to the Coimbatore South members of the photo videographers association.



Ramesh State head of the photo videographers association met with the press after the event said that there are over 3 lakh photo videographers in Tamilnadu and over 20 lakh family members whose livelihood is based on these photo videographers.

He said that during Covid-19 pandemic 19 photo videographers were dead and that most of them committed suicide due to the heavy loans and poverty during lockdown.



Ramesh State head of the photo videographers association also requested the Tamilnadu government to give welfare funds to the photo videographers of the state and must ensure the livelihood of the photo videographers by setting up a welfare board which looks after their welfare.
