List of all complaints and requests made to MK Stalin at DMK's Grama Sabha meeting held at Thondamuthur, Coimbatore!

DMK chief MK Stalin met the public and farmers of Devarayapuram, Thondamuthur in Coimbatore.

Coimbatore: Grama Sabha meeting was held today in Coimbatore under the leadership of DMK chief MK Stalin. The meeting took place in Devarayapuram of Thondamuthur Taluk.

During the grama sabha meeting, DMK chief MK Stalin met with thousands of people and farmers and asked about their concerns and their needs and assured them that once DMK comes to power their woes will be solved.

Following are the list of complaints people requested at DMK's grama sabha meeting:

1)Agriculture and animal husbandry needs water reservoir but the current government is diverting the Siruvani water to private companies. This must be stopped and Siruvani water must be saved from the private sector.

2) Ground water level has gone down with the implementation of enormous borewells and pipes. So preservation of underground water level is mandatory.

3) Agricultural lands are often destroyed by the wild hogs in the locality and because of this our produce has been ruined. The government must cancel the loans taken by farmers and also give permission to the farmers to kill the wild hogs.

4) During the period of DMK leader Kalaingar Karunanidhi farmer's loans of 7000 crores were cancelled. The loans got by farmers of 5000 rupees has now become 50,000 with interest, DMK party when comes to power to cancel the interest.

5) Like government officials receiving pension, aged farmers should also be sanctioned pension schemes.

6) People who are working in the 100 days employment scheme are only being made to work at pond's and river shores. They must also be made to work at the agricultural fields.

7) A MBBS student Keerthana present at the meeting said that she got through medical college after getting a high score now after struggling for 2 years with the help of Kalaingar's reservation for minorities and requested NEET examination to be cancelled.

8) Farmers requested pond's andakes to be built on the water flowing side of Noyyal river which can be used by farmers for irrigation rather than using a 1500 ft borewell. Also a dam must be built across the Noyyal river to preserve water for agricultural use.

9) Seeds should be given to farmers for free. The interest if the loans gotten under women self help groups should be cancelled.

10) Employment exchange must be made more active and people must be selected based on their qualification.

11) Members of the Arunthathiyar community were given a chance to develop during the period of Kalaingar, when DMK party comes to power their lives must be developed.

12) Regular monetary support should be given to physically challenged people.

13) A welfare group must be set for workers who climb up trees and risk their lives during their jobs.

14) An end must be brought towards building large buildings ruining farming fields and also a waste treatment plant must be built in the Narasipuram area.

DMK chief MK Stalin who listened to the woes of the public assured that these changes will be made once DMK is in power.

DMK chief MK Stalin also said that women in general gave a special talent in identifying bad from good being in the dress, food, vegetable and meat that they choose and that women will also be aware while choosing from the good to the bad and will make their choices wisely and that DMK party will definitely win the elections.

DMK chief MK Stalin at the end of his address thanked DMKdistrict chief organiser MLA Karthik, CR Ramachandran, Senathipathy, Velusamy, Ravi Saminathan, Thendral Selvaraj andEx ministers Kannappan and Pongalur Palanisamy for making this event happen.
