DMK leader MK Stalin jibes and lists out his complaints on AIADMK and Minister SP Velumani

Minister SP Velumani's corrupt local government will end in four months: DMK Leader MK Stalin

Coimbatore: "I gave good governance during my tenure but Minsiter Velumani in Coimbatore has become the Minister of Corruption in" said MK Stalin during a village council meeting in Devarayapuram, Coimbatore today.

A meeting of the People's Village Council was organized at Devarayapuram in the Thondamuthur constituency of Coimbatore. Leader MK Stalin came to Coimbatore to participate in it. MK Stalin went to Devarayapuram and spoke to the people before the village council meeting began.

He said that the anarchic, plundering and tyrannical rule of the AIADMK is taking place throughout Tamil Nadu and Coimbatore district tops the list. He said that the biggest anarchy and corruption is taking place in Coimbatore district and promised that all these will be completed in 4 more months.

In his speech, he made several accusations and promises as below:

I gave a good local government

He said, "It would be more appropriate to call Velumani as 'Corruption Mani'  I have also served as Home Minister and I gave good local government but Velumani's local government in Coimbatore has been robbing people of their taxes.

Imprisonment if you ask a question or protest

In Coimbatore, various protests are being carried out by district secretaries on the orders of the headquarters and protestors are being arrested. When the Intelligence received the news that I will personally come and protest in Coimbatore, the detainees were released within 10 minutes. Village council meeting continues to be banned, AIADMK must understand that they cannot stop a wedding by hiding a comb!

They continue to ban our village council meeting so as not to expose corruption to the people. We started the village council meeting on the 23rd. On the 24th all their corruption were out in public. Therefore, the Edappadi government, which saw the rise of the DMK supporters through the village council meeting, continued to ban and arrest party members.

Why hold village council meeting?

The village council can be held 3 times a year. It will be ordered by the Collector on Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti and Republic Day and it will then be presided over by the Panchayat President. People will discuss issues like drinking water and basic amenities, like street lighting issue etc. to the authorities. We are conducting this to understand the needs of the respective villages and allocate funds in the budget to meet the basic livelihood needs of the people.

DMK wins 75 percent of panchayat elections

We won 39 seats in Parliament by running the Village Council meeting. Usually the ruling party will win more in the panchayat elections. However, we have won 75 percent of the panchayat elections that have taken place.

AIADMK to hold village council meeting in the same area tomorrow to compete with DMK

I was informed that a public meeting will be held in the same area tomorrow on behalf of the ruling party to compete for our village council meeting. In it, Dairy Minister Rajendra Balaji is participating. He is not the Minister of Dairy, he is the Minister of Balloon. He has pitifully broken balloons with the scissor for ribbon cutting in an inauguration ceremony.

Does AIADMK have answers to questions of the public?

We are ready to face any charges face to face. Do you have an answer to the question people ask and the questions that we ask? We should learn from Velumani on how to loot. For example, he said he would replace the yellow street lights with LED lights. He has looted crores of rupees in replacing LED bulbs in 38 districts.

Corruption in bulbs

The price of an LED bulb is 450 rupees, but minister says it has been bought for 3,737 rupees, the minister said. He has accounted for 4,120 crores rupees a year. Next to this, the original price of the high quality light is Rs 1,550. He has bought it for 14,919 rupees. So calculate for yourself on how many crores he would have scored in 38 districts.

Likewise a case has been filed against the Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy in link to corruption of 6000 crore rupees in a project. But when the CBI was ready for enquiry, the chief minister obtained a conjunction with the supreme court. We have also complained to the Governor of Tamilnadu regarding this incident."

Corruption complaint to the governor

We have prepared a list of corruption of more than 8 ministers including Edappadi Palanisamy, OPS, Velumani, Jayakumar, Vijayabaskar and have lodged a complaint with the Governor with the evidence. Velumani says the complaint is a false accusation. In this regard, our party Alandur Bharathi MP filed a case in the court.

We are ready for the challenge. Are you ready to resign?

Velumani says that I am lying and asks if I will stay out of politics if he does not prove it. I am ready, are you ready, even if you leave politics, we will stand before the law and make you pay the price for corruption

Massive corruption in the public sector

Edappadi Palanisamy's contract has been awarded to the Public Works and Highways Department throughout Tamil Nadu. The case was prosecuted with full evidence that Rs 6,000 crore of corruption had taken place in it. The Chennai High Court, which heard the case, ordered a CBI inquiry into the allegations. Seeing this, the shocked Edappadi immediately went to Delhi and obtained a temporary restraining order from the Supreme Court. If he was not guilty, would he have resigned and returned to office after facing trial?

Mystery in Jayalalithaa's death

Ministers were puppets of when Jayalalithaa was live. If a relative in our home dies we will go directly and find out how he died, which doctor he consulted and what had happened. But despite the differences between Jayalalithaa and us as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the mystery surrounding the death of the Chief Minister still remains.

The deputy chief minister himself said it was a mystery, but once he got the post, he compromised. When O. Panneerselvam was asked to resign as Chief Minister by Sasikala he went directly to Jayalalithaa's tomb and said there is a mystery in her death. He meditated for 40 minutes in Amma's tomb, saying that he had enough evidence. Now the two are together. Panneerselvam remained silent after he took Deputy Chief Minister office. In Arumugasami trial that has been going on for 3 years and Paneerselvam did not go as witness even after 8 summons

Justice will prevail in Jayalalithaa's death once the DMK comes to power

Kalaignar will always do what he says and will say what he does. The DMK's election manifesto is being prepared. When we come to power, we will find out the mysterious death of Amma Jayalalithaa and punish the culprits.

Don’t be afraid to voice your problems, you will be relieved in four months

It makes me happy to see the women who have gathered here. It is well understood that you want to make a big difference in Tamil Nadu. We are here to hear your thoughts. Whether in power or not, the DMK will always stand by the people. Now you can take up all the issues in your area like drinking water issue, pension issue, women self help group issue. You do not need to be afraid of anything."

MK Stalin spoke among the people and said that in 4 more months they will have freedom from corruption.
