'KOPMA' decides to increase Pump set prices by 15% from Today


Coimbatore: Since the abnormal price hike of raw materials has made a big impact. MSME industry association for pump set manufacturers(KOPMA) has decided to increase the pump set prices by 15%.

Kovai Power Driven Pumps and Spares Manufacturers Association(KOPMA) meeting held yesterday in which association president K.Maniraj presided over. During the meeting the impact caused on the abnormal price hike of raw materials were discussed and since the price increase has pushed the entire industry sector to crisis. The association decided to increase the price of all types of pump sets by 15% from today. Maniraj further said, they have been forced to take this decision since there are no other options left to safeguard the industry sector and living of many lakh workers.
