Three UK returnees test positive for Covid-19 in the Nilgiris.


The Nilgiris: With another UK returnee testing positive for COVID-19, the count now stands at three, according to the health official sources. This time, a returnee and his contact were tested for COVID-19 and the returnee was tested positive.

Three returnees and two of their contacts’ swabs have been collected and sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune to confirm if the the new coronavirus strain spreading across UK.

All the five persons are presently admitted at Ooty government hospital and are closely monitored.
