Coimbatore: Husband Pradeep (29) and wife Jamuna (27) were from Ambedkar Colony, Ooty. The couple who got married by falling in love with each other before 10 years. They have 2 daughters of age 3 and 5.
Pradeep and Jamuna are known for their usual quarrel. Pradeep who was in plans to go to Sabarimala was fasting for it. In an argument that happened yesterday night between the couple, Pradeep assaulted Yamuna strongly which led her to getting severely hurt at the back of her head.
Neighbours and relatives immediately rushed Jamuna to the Ooty government hospital. She was then moved to the Coimbatore government hospital for further treatment. With no progression in her treatment, Jamuna was declared dead today afternoon.
Meanwhile Jamuna's husband Pradeep, panicked by the death of his wife tried to kill himself with the varnish liquid from his house.
Meanwhile the relatives of Jamuna refused to claim her body and protested at the government hospital which created panic in the area.
