Tirupur: Man tries to kill himself after killing his girlfriend!

Tirupur: Venkatesh (27) from Kallakurichi, Villupuram is a driver who works in Chennai. He lives separated from his wife and was in a relationship with a woman named Ezhilmathi (21) for a year, who was from his native city Tirupur.


Tirupur: Venkatesh (27) from Kallakurichi, Villupuram is a driver who works in Chennai. He lives separated from his wife and was in a relationship with a woman named Ezhilmathi (21) for a year, who was from his native city Tirupur.

Venkatesh came to Tirupur to visit Ezhilmathi and was staying at a lodge near Valarmathi bridge. Ezhilmathi who went to the lodge to visit Venkatesh had an argument with him. Venkatesh who got agitated with this incident cut Ezhilmathi in her neck with a knife. He then tried to commit suicide by trying to cut his neck.

Both of them are now under treatment at a private hospital in Avinashi Road. The police department has filed a case against Venkatesh and are further investigating the case.
