Worker killed as an unidentified vehicle hit him


Coimbatore: A worker was killed in an accident by an unidentified vehicle. Raja (age 50) is a laborer and he is from the Periyakuyili area of Sulur, Coimbatore.

On the day of the incident, he was walking from Pappampatti on Peedampalli Road. Then an unidentified vehicle that came that way suddenly lost control and hit Raja and went off without stopping. He was thrown down on the road and died on the spot with serious injuries. Sulur police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation.
