In the letter it was mentioned that people who are paying at charges at the Kaniyur toll gate are also paying similar charges at Neelambur toll gate which is just 5 minutes apart. Like wise toll amounts are paid by locals at 6 different times in the same city. He also mentioned that this it is not fair to pay so many times to travel within their own city.

In the petition also said that the private companies are still charging for the toll booths were no road expansion nor road maintenance work has been done. The petition akso requested the rural development minister along with district officials to moderate the actions that is needed to be done.

Also the farmers have requested the district officials in their petition to cancel the new method of total charges which fluctuates every time and to rather introduce the old pass system which charges rupees 5 everyday with a monthly charge of 150 rupees for locals to transport easier. The farmers also said that they are in deep trouble with the cost fluctuations increasing every trip.

Finally the farmers requested the government officials to consolidate with the locals and introduce schemes which do not affect the locals.
