Public complain of the tar road that is hidden in bushes in the village of Palamanallurpudur near Pollachi

Pollachi: Public have complained of the tar road that is hidden in bushes in the village of Palamanallurpudur near Pollachi. Road widening work was carried out in the year 2014 in Palamanallur village under Zameen Kottampatti panchayat under the Pollachi South Panchayat Union.

Of this, about 5 feet tar road was laid from Nattukkalpalayam to Pakkothipalayam via Palamanallur and the rest of the road was laid as concrete road. As a result, commuters to the area for school, college and work were able to reach the Valparai-Pollachi Highway quickly. Over the course of many days the road went unmaintained, with bushes on both sides, making it unusable by the people at present.

The road, which has been repeatedly requested by the public, has not been repaired and is now overgrown with bushes. People walking and cycling through the road are scared because poisonous snakes are hiding in these bushes. This also scratches any cars that go that way. Therefore, the people of the area have demanded that the road be completely rehabilitated and brought for public use.
