At the foothills, on the banks of the river there, there are various tourist attractions such as the Amanalingeswarar Temple, Thirumoorthy Dam Park, boat house, swimming pool, aquarium and sports park.

In order to attract more tourists, a study was carried out with the Rural Development Department officials led by District Tourism Officer Arvind Kumar and it has been decided to construct a new eco-park on behalf of the Department of Tourism near the existing swimming pool area under the control of the Rural Development Department.
The swimming pool here is visited by a large number of tourists and their families during the holidays and normal days.
