COVID 19: TN posts 4,515 recoveries and 3,536 new cases

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu reported a whopping 85,130 people being tested for Covid-19 on Monday.


Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu reported a whopping 85,130 people being tested for Covid-19 on Monday.

The state witnessed 3,536 fresh Covid-19 cases today. This brings the total tally up to 6,90,936, the state media bulletin confirmed.

The death toll in the state touched 10,691, with 49 more deaths being reported, the State media bulletin confirmed.

Tamil Nadu’s capital has been the worst affected district in the state with 885 cases being reported on Monday. The other districts to report more cases were Coimbatore (290), Chengalpattu (241) and Salem (192).

As many as 4,515 people recovered from the infection today, and the total recoveries now stand at 6,42,152.
