They also condemned the alleged registration of the state owned PAP canal to a private party by forging documents.
They demanded the immediate relocation of employees who have been working in the Palladam Sub-Registrar office for more than three years and condemned their tendency to harass farmers and the public for profit.
The protest was attended by parties including DMK, Congress, MDMK, and CPM.
