Tirupur: Farmers sieged Tirupur Collectorate alleging insufficient compensation those who affected by high tension towers

A company by the name PowerGrid is constructing high tension towers in various parts of Tirupur district. The management had promised to provide adequate compensation to the farmers affected by the towers prior to the commencement of work.



The farmers today besieged the Tirupur District Collector's Office and met District Collector Vijayakarthikeyan, demanding that the tower work should be stopped and resumed only after adequate compensation is paid.
