Coimbatore: Police have arrested a man who distributes LPG cylinders in Coimbatore for trying to film a woman taking a bath on his cellphone.
A 40-year-old woman living in the Ponnaiyarajapuram area of Coimbatore had been bathing in the bathroom at her house as usual two days ago. She realized that someone was recording this in a cell phone and started yelling. The man who was involved in the heinous act made a hasty retreat.
She rushed out of the bathroom and saw a LPG cylinder delivery man leaving on his two-wheeler which made her suspicious.
Later, the woman's husband lodged a complaint at the Variety Hall Road Police Station regarding the incident. Based on the complaint, the police arrested Selvaraj, an LPG cylinder delivery man, and conducted an investigation.
The investigation revealed that when Selvaraj went to distribute cylinders in the area, he found out it was deserted and a woman was bathing following which he tried to film her. Following this, the police arrested Selvaraj, produced him in court and remanded him into custody.
