Speaking at the time, Harson Prabhu, the party's state deputy organizer, said that the Tamil Nadu Ilaignar Katchi would be fielded in all 234 constituencies in the forthcoming assembly elections and that a youth team would be formed with those who care about the welfare of the people. He also said that the country would grow and become a superpower if the youngsters who comprise 65% of the Indian population are given a chance at political power.
He said that although the youth are involved in politics, they are being used for the benefit of unqualified political leaders. The youth in the Jallikattu struggle together have appointed more than 1600 office bearers in all these districts in these four years with two lakh eight thousand 639 members. They said that just three months after the party was registered, it contested from RK Nagar constituency in 2017. He also said they contested in 16 constituencies in 2019 and secured sixth position. He added that there is a huge vacuum in politics and opportunities are not being given to deserving youngsters.
He said, politicians do not pay attention to problems because they focus too much on how they can extort money from people. He said that the Tamil Nadu Ilaignar Katchi believes that progress can be made towards development by focusing on the betterment of the youth.He said they will contest in all the 234 constituencies in 2021 and create a youth force that will care about the welfare of the people and create a new history in the elections. He said like-minded political parties are welcome to work with them.

The party's women's team coordinator Lathifa, district deputy chairman Manikandan, district secretary Dharmendran and district treasurer Ramakrishnan were among those present at the press conference.
