According to reports, Ganesan is working with the Coimbatore Corporation and is engaged with the managing water lines at Kuniamuthur area. On October 10, Ganesan who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol had misbehaved with a 26-year-old in Kuniamuthur, while on duty.
Based on the complaint by the woman, the Kunimathur police were inquiring the issue. After investigation, the police arrested Ganesan and remanded him in custody.
