Dayanitha and Ashwanth, second standard students from Cheran Maanagar and Bharathi Nagar, respectively, have been practicing yoga for the past six months with Kala Bharathi Award winning yoga teacher Vijayalakshmi.

This being the case, the girl Dayanitha has set a new record by performing 50 types of asanas including Chakrasana, Natarajasana, and Hanumanasana in just seven minutes. Also, the boy Ashwant holds the record for performing Bhoomasana continuously for 30 minutes. Their achievements have been inducted into the Nobel Book of Records and certified, said the director of Coimbatore Gramiya Puthalvan Kalaikuzhu, Kalaiyarasan.
