Tirupur: A 4-year-old died after falling into a water tank while playing.
The incident happened near Palladam and police have registered a case and are investigating.
John Victor is from Ammapalayam Nehru Nagar next to Palladam in Tirupur district. He runs a two wheeler workshop and is married to Vasanthi. They had a 4-year-old son named Kavinkumar. This morning Vasanthi's mother Eswari took Kavin Kumar to the Sedapalayam where she works. Kavinkumar was playing there when Eswari was working.
As Kavinkumar was not seen for a while, Vasanthi and her colleagues searched for him. It was then found that Kavinkumar had fallen into a water tank there. Those present immediately rescued the boy and brought him to Palladam Government Hospital. Doctors who examined the boy declared him dead on arrival. Palladam police are investigating the incident.
