Coimbatore: Rs 9.28 lakh received as offering at the Anaimalai Masaniamman temple
Coimbatore: Anaimalai Masaniamman Temple is one of the temples under the control of the The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department in Coimbatore district. The counting of the temple offerings for this month took place today.

More than 30 devotees took part in it. Eachanari Vinayagar Temple Assistant Commissioner Krishnakumar, Masaniamman Temple Assistant Commissioner V. Anand, Temple Superintendents Arun Prakash and Arjunan headed the counting. Devotees had offered Rs 9,28,738 in cash. As social distancing was adhered due to the COVID regulations, only a few makeshift offering boxes were counted.
The offerings in permanent hundials will be counted on another day, the temple administration said.
