Coimbatore: Three persons were killed in various road accidents in Coimbatore. Shivraj (60) from Karamadai, Coimbatore was riding to Coimbatore from Mettupalayam on a motorcycle with his friend Kathiravan.

Shivraj stumbled and fell down when he lost control of his motorcycle near Karamadai. He was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries there. Karamadai police have registered a case and are investigating.
Arvind (22) from Goripalayam area next to Coimbatore Karumathampatti was a construction worker. He was on his way to Kittampalayam from Karumathampatti on his motorcycle yesterday when he collided with a speeding car and was seriously injured. He died on the spot. Karumathampatti police have registered a case and are investigating.
Bikas Jaloii (37) from Coimbatore was riding his motorcycle near the Flower Market when he collided with a minivan coming on the wrong track. He was critically injured and was rushed to a nearby government hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
West Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating.
