Coimbatore: 'SimpliCity' posted news a few days ago about new flight services announced by Indigo airlines to Ahmedabad and Pune from last week of October. The airline has now added two more new services to Jaipur and Kolkata.
The service between Kolkata and Coimbatore (via Chennai) will start from October 28 and the one to Jaipur (via Hyderabad) will begin on October 26.
The service to Ahmedabad (2-way non-stop) and the one to Pune also will commence from October 15.
Sources from Indigo Airlines said, "The airline has four new services from Coimbatore. Indigo Airlines is not only doing well on the passenger service sector flights, but also excels in cargo handling. Recently, we made new history in air cargo lifting. We registered three records by loading 7.2, 7.3 and 7.8 tonnes in the available belly space of passenger flights. This was possible because of perfection and team effort."
