The two later got married. The couple has a nine-year-old son. She separated from her husband following a dispute three years ago and was running a grocery shop in Selakarichal area. She and her son lived with her parents. Narasimhan and Saranya had also decided to get divorced and the case is still pending in the court.
Few days ago Narasimhan went to Saranya's house with a person named Praveen from the same area to pacify his wife and said he wanted to see his son, but Saranya had refused.
Following this Narasimhan and Praveen lifted the boy and tried to run away. Shocked by this, Saranya and her family got into a heated argument with him, but Narasimhan eventually abducted the boy after threatening the family. Saranya filed a case at the Sultapent police station. The Police are investigating the incident.
