Coimbatore: Woman dies in Coimbatore as government bus hits two wheeler
Coimbatore: Woman died a tragic death right in front of her husband as their two wheeler was hit by a government bus. Subramanian (62) is from Narasimhanaickenpalayam Sriram Nagar. His wife Gomathi (50) was killed when the two-wheeler in which she and Subramanian were travelling collided with a government bus in Coimbatore.
Gomathi had been in the business of selling covering jewellery. After buying things required for the business, they were home when a government bus hit their two-wheeler from behind, near the Erucompany area. Gomathi, who was the pillion rider, fell off the bike and sustained severe injuries and died on the spot tragically right in front of her husband's eyes.
Thudiyalur police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
