Coimbatore: Civil Service Preliminary Examination to be held in 21 centres in Coimbatore today


Coimbatore: Civil Service Preliminary Examination will be held in 21 centres in Coimbatore today in which 8685 students are all set to appear.

Those who come to write the first paper are advised to come before 9.20 am and those who come to write the second paper exam are required to come to the examination center before 2.20 pm. After the entrance gate of the examination center is locked, latecomers will not be allowed to enter. The candidates will be denied permission to carry electronic devices including cell phones and smart watches.

Those appearing for the exam can use only black ink to write the exam and should bring their ID card, hall ticket, and passport size photo. For the convenience of those appearing for exams, transport facilities have been established. In addition, facilities including toilet and drinking water have been set up at the examination centers. Co-optex Managing Director Venkatesh, Social Security Commissioner Lalvena, and UPSC Special Secretary Rita Batla have been appointed as Supervision Officers.

In addition, 21 inspection officers, 56 assistant center supervisors, and 763 supervisors for classrooms have also been appointed.
