Coimbatore: A man is appreciated by many for letting a python cross the road safely near the KSB Pumps next to Narasimhanaickenpalayam near Coimbatore.
At around 11 pm last night, near the KSB Pumps next to Narasimanaickenpalayam, Road, an Indian python about 12 feet long slowly crawled on the Coimbatore Mettupalayam road and tried to cross the road.
Seeing this, many shocked motorists parked their vehicles on the road and waited until the Indian python crossed the road, but the snake was moving very slowly as it had swallowed a prey.
While everyone was afraid to go near the snake because it was so big, one person who saw this, took a big pole nearby and helped the snake cross the road, which it disappeared into a bush.
Those present there appreciated the person who helped the snake cross the road safely, as it could have been hit and killed by vehicles such as buses and lorries if no one had noticed it. This affected traffic in the area for some time.
