Coimbatore: Gram Sabha meeting in Kullakapalayam near Pollachi passes resolutions against Farm Bills-2020
Coimbatore: Resolutions were passed at a Gram Sabha meeting held at the Kullakapalayam Panchayat office near Pollachi. Leaflets were distributed to farmers on the impact of the Agricultural Law Amendment Bill.
The Tamil Nadu government has ordered the cancellation of Gram Sabha meetings that were slotted to be held in Tamil Nadu today. DMK leader M.K. Stalin had protested against this decision and announced that resolutions against the Agriculture Law Amendment Bill would be passed in the DMK-backed panchayats and awareness will be raised about the implications of the Act.
