The Revenue and Fire Departments in Pollachi today conducted a demonstration on how to protect people from the effects of the northeast monsoon which usually arrives in October and November in Tamil Nadu.
The Fire Separtment explained how to rescue those who are trapped in rivers with and the ones stuck on terraces with ropes. They also performed an impressive demonstration on how to rescue the injured in the event of a road accident.
The demonstration impressed the public.
