Coimbatore: A Royal Brunei Airlines repatriation flight is slotted to land at Coimbatore International Airport on October 2.
After many repatriation flights bringing back stranded Indians from many international cities including Dubai landed at Coimbatore, the city's International Airport witnessed a rare landing of a chartered aircraft with 139 passengers from the less known destination of Brunei on July 3.
The Royal Brunei Airlines also operated two more flights on July 31 and September 18.
Meanwhile, The High Commission of India, Brunei has shared information in its Twitter account that said the Royal Brunei airlines is operating a repatriation flight to Coimbatore for the third time on October 2.
While no flight services have provided to Coimbatore by Air India Express in the last two Vande Bharat missions, it is to be noted that Coimbatore keeps witnessing the landing of aircrafts from rare visitors such as Kenya Airways, SalamAir and Royal Brunei Airlines that repatriate Indians during the ongoing pandemic.
