Coimbatore: TN engineering counselling rank list topper Sasmitha has opted for Computer Science. The rank list for engineering courses was released yesterday. Sasmita from Coimbatore topped the list with a score of 199.67. She studied 11th & 12th classes in Hyderabad and emerged as a topper.
She said that the ranking was unexpected and was very happy. She said that she wanted to study computer science at CEG College, Chennai and her goal was to study well and get a job in a good company. Family and friends praised Sasmita for becoming the topper.
Minister SP Velumani took to Twitter and congratulated the topper Sasmita and Nilgiris student Kavya, who secured third place Nilgiris. He has conveyed his wishes for them to scale many more peaks in their lives.
