Coimbatore: With the launch of the "Kovai Covid Care Project", Rotary Club of Coimbatore Downtown and Zenith have donated Pediatric Ventilator and Anaesthesia Equipments to Coimbatore government hospital.
Coimbatore: With the launch of the "Kovai Covid Care Project", Rotary Club of Coimbatore Downtown and Zenith have donated Pediatric Ventilator and Anaesthesia Equipments to Coimbatore government hospital.
As part of the newly launched "Kovai Covid Care" project, a meeting was held with the doctors at Coimbatore GH to understand the need of equiopments go treats kids affected with Covid. Imported equipments including Pediatric Ventilator, Anesthesia Workstation, Bi spectra Monitor, Sonosite M-Turbo hand carried Doppler system, Patient Monitor, Perfusor space pumps, Nerve Stimulator and Neonatal Syringe pump were donated, today.
The project is backed by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Downtown, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Zenith & Rotary Club of Germantown (Memphis) USA.
About "Kovai Covid Care" project
The "Kovai Covid Care" project is a Foundation grant project where funds are mobilized by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Downtown and Zenith and then with help of an international partner Rotary Club of Germantown(Memphis) and RotaryFoundation more funds were raised. The funds received from the international partner and the funds raised by Rotary foundation were put together to raise a specific amount of Rs 53,87,000 for the "Kovai Covid Care" Project.
Among several other members and donors, the key members of the Project include project coordinator Rtn A Godwin Maria Visuvasam of Coimbatore Downtown, Rtn Gokulraj of Coimbatore Zenith, GGR Rtn. Raviraj and GGR Rtn Sumith Kumar Prasad of Coimbatore Downtown.
