Coimbatore District Band musicians who came to the Coimbatore District Collector's Office with musical instruments filed a petition with the District Collector.
Among them are more than 500 artists from Coimbatore and surrounding areas who depend on the industry, as they have been attending weddings, temple festivals and all religious auspicious events for years, playing band instruments and have been severely affected due to the Cancellation of performances due to the corona curfew announced last March. They said that their famillies are now living in poverty.
Therefore, in order to protect our livelihood, we must be given permission to hold shows with appropriate measures and help.
