Hospital management said that it has done a CT scan on 5,794 Covid positive patients of which 68% had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Besides, patients admitted in the emergency ward who had less than normal oxygen levels have also been treated and are under observation.
More than 80% of the patients admitted with chronic obstructive disease have been sent back home after successful treatment.
ESI hospital Dean Nirmala praised the team of doctors for acting with immediacy and commitment in providing service to the patients.
