Coimbatore: Members of Tamil Nadu Malaivazh Makkal Sangam were arrested for protesting against Farm Bills-2020 in Anamalai.

A protest was held today in front of the Anamalai State Bank on behalf of Tamil Nadu Malaivazh Makkal Sangam against the new agricultural bills by the Central Government.
Association President Paramasivam presided over. During the protest, they raised slogans condemning the central government's agricultural bills.

They then sat in front of the State Bank on Sethumadai Road in Anamalai and engaged in a road roko. Following this, the Anaimalai police arrested 15 members of the association for conducting a road roko. Police locked them up in a private hall. They were later released around 5 p.m.
