"Thiru S P Balasubrahmanyam who had been admitted at MGM Healthcare on August 5 remains on ECMO and other life support measures. His condition in the last 24 hours has deteriorated further warranting maximal life support and he is extremelycritical. The team of experts at MGM Healthcare are closely monitoring his health condition", the statement said.
Meanwhile, SPB's son SP Charan on Tuesday on his Instagram share an update about his father's health and informed fans that the singer-actor continues the steady progress toward getting better and is eager to leave the hospital as early as possible.
Millions of fans across the globe are praying for the veteran singer's recovery. He was tested positive for COVID-19 on August 5 and undergoing critical treatment for Covid complications.
