Coimbatore: Minister S.P.Velumani presents welfare assistance to physically disabled in Coimbatore on behalf of Welfare Department
Coimbatore: S.P.Velumani presented battery-powered wheelchairs to physically disabled on behalf of Welfare Department.
Minister S.P. Velumani provided welfare assistance to beneficiaries on behalf of the Coimbatore District Welfare Department for Physically Challenged.
Around 50 lakhs worth of battery-powered wheelchairs and various appliances including hearing aids were provided to beneficiaries.
Disabled children with spinal cord injuries were provided with battery-powered wheelchairs, hearing aids and a water-bed fitted wheelchair.
Following this, a consultative meeting on Coronavirus prevention measures is going on at the District Collector's Office chaired by Minister S.P. Velumani.
Officials from various departments including the District Collector. Corporation Commissioner, Commissioner of Police and Deans of Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital and ESI Hospital are participating in the meeting.
