Coimbatore: All unions protested in Valparai in condemnation of State and Central governments
Anamalai LPF chief and former Valparai Town Secretary Kozhikadai N. Ganesan led the protest that was conducted in front of the Municipality Office.
They demanded fulfillment of various requests such as non-amendment of labour laws, controlling price hikes, provision of equal bonus private estate workers, etc.
Political parties including DMK, Congress, MDMK and the Communists participated in the agitation.
Communist Party's Town Secretary Mohan Periyasam, Paramasivam, Congress Party's Karuppiah, Advocates Vinodkumar and Vishwanathan, MDMK's Velmurugan, Ponnuchami, Magudeeswaran and Pannerselvam and a lot of the members of the public participated in the protest.
