Hidayatullah Muslim Sunnat Jamaat Mosque is located at Vedambal Nagar near Ganapathy in Coimbatore. Unidentified persons hurled petrol bombs at the mosque gate on March 5.
Saravanampatti police registered a case and were investigating the case. It was found that Vishwa Hindu Parishad members Akhil and Pandi committed this act in condemnation of an attack on Hindu Munnani functionary Anand.
The case is being heard in the Coimbatore Judicial Magistrate Court-II. In this case, a report from the Forensic Science Department has been filed in court.
