Development work worth Rs 2.27 crore in Coimbatore inaugurated by Minister SP Velumani

The Minister SP inaugurated development work in the South Zone of Coimbatore Corporation. He also inaugurated the newly constructed park for public use which was built at a cost of Rs. 37.90 lakh from the Corporation Public Fund.



He inaugurated the bhoomi pooja for the passenger waiting area at the South zone Ward 87 at a cost of Rs. 10 lakhs. He also inaugurated the newly constructed park for public use which was built at a cost of Rs. 37.90 lakh at Bharathi Nagar from the Corporation Public Fund. He also distributed COVID-19 preventive tablets to the public. The Minister launched a project worth Rs 34.71 lakh with bhoomi pooja in the Bharathi Nagar area from the Turif Phase-II project. He also inaugurated the construction of tar road at an estimated cost of Rs. 41.30 lakhs at Brindavan nagar, South zone.



He also inaugurated projects in Thirunavukarasu Street Ward 93 for tar road at the budget of 46.47 lakhs, 28.50 lakhs from corporation public fund for Machampalayam Main Road, rain water harvesting project at Nalvaratha Konar street and preventive medicines were also distributed to the public in the area. Following that, bhoomi puja for the construction of a road from Turif project to Manikandan Nagar area at an estimated cost of Rs. 41.80 lakhs was carried out. In total Minister SP Velumani inaugurated development works worth Rs. 2 crore 2 lakh 78 thousand in the city.
