Coimbatore: College student commits suicide in Coimbatore: Complaint lodged against private company
Coimbatore: Murugesan is a lawyer from Chettipalayamarea in Coimbatore. His son Gokula Krishna (19) was a second year student at a private college in Pollachi.

Gokula Krishna, who has been at home for the past few months due to the Coronavirus lockdown, had been working at a private company headquartered in Gujarat filling up applications online. The private company has been demanding money from Gokula Krishna, claiming that it incurred losses due to him not working properly.
Due to depression, he tried to commit suicide by hanging himself at home in the afternoon two days ago. He was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital but the doctors there declared him dead on arrival. Chettipalayam police have registered a case and are investigating based on a complaint lodged by his father Murugesan.
The parents of the deceased student along with Coimbatore South District BJP leader Vasantharajan lodged a complaint with the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police and the District Collector against NAT ENTERPRISE OFFICE AT VAP, a Gujarat-based company responsible for his son's suicide, and "Minhas", a lawyer who tried to extort money from Gokula Krishna over the phone.
