Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner inspects isolated areas in the Central Zone
Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner inspected the isolated areas in the Central Zone. He instructed the people to get themselves tested at the special medical camps and urged them to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
He inspected Ward 45 New Mullai Nagar. Those living in isolated homes with symptoms such as cold, flu, and cough should have a coronavirus test, he said. He instructed those in isolated houses to clean the house with disinfectants both in the morning and evening. He directed the officials in charge of the isolated zones to make sure that people there are provided with essentials such as vegetables, milk, etc.

He inspected the health workers who visit homes and identify people with symptoms. He also inspected the disinfection work. The Commissioner enquired about drinking water distribution in the area.

He then visited and inspected the construction of MCC at Ward No. 45, Narayanasamy Layout in the Central Zone. He also inspected the crematorium constructed at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore in Sanganur, Kannappa Nagar.
Central Zone Assistant Commissioner Mahesh Kanagaraj, Assistant Chief Engineer Karuppusamy and Zonal Health Officer Radhakrishnan, Health Inspectors and Supervisors were present during the inspection.
