Coimbatore: A Coimbatore man has been arrested for verbally abusing and harassing a woman in an apartment.

The couple, Ganesan (49) who runs a shop in Singanallur and lives in an apartment in the area. He is said to have wrong intentions towards a lady who lives in the same apartment as he. Allegedly, he verbally abused her.
Two days back, when the lady was standing with her child on the ground floor of the apartment, Ganesan who came there started to verbally abuse her. Scared by this, she tried to get into a lift, but Ganesan managed to follow her into the lift and pulled her by her hair and tried to attack her. He fled when she started to scream.
Following a complaint registered by her, Ganesan was arrested, produced at court and jailed.
