Madankumar hails from Kangayam area of Tirupur district. He was traveling from Tirupur to Kangayam in his luxury car this morning.
While near Nachipalayam next to Rangapalayam the car unexpectedly collided with an oncoming two-wheeler. Lingusamy (47), who was running a grocery shop in Rangapalayam area, died on the spot.
Mithun (17), a resident of Tirupur Mudalipalayam, too was killed on the spot when his two-wheeler collided head-on with a two-wheeler belonging to his sister Mersika and mother Jeeva.
Following this, the locals rescued Mithun's mother Jeeva and sister Mersika who were injured in the accident and sent them to the Tirupur Government Hospital for treatment.
Avinashi Palayam police who came to the spot after learning about the accident have registered a case and arrested Madan Kumar who was driving the car.
